Brief sports biography.

President of the International Bujin Shinkudoryu Association, Igor Samokhin.
Kancho is the head of the Organization and the custodian of the School's traditions.

Education: Taras Shevchenko Luhansk National Pedagogical University.
Physical education and physical rehabilitation.

Date of birth: February 5, 1967.
Antratsyt, Luhansk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

From 1973 to 1981, artistic gymnastics classes. Sports class, Secondary School No. 2. Two training sessions per day, six times a week. Candidate Master of Sports in artistic gymnastics.

From 1988 to 1993 – Karate and kickboxing training.

1994 – Began practicing Daido Juku Karate Do.

Since 1995 – Official Daido Juku Karate Do Representative in Ukraine.

2000 – Branch Chief of Ukraine.

2001 – Received the authority to conduct Dan grading tests from KUDO founder Jukucho Takashi Azuma. Has trained over 150 KUDO black belts registered in the Kudo International Federation database.

From 2014 to 2025 – Director of the KUDO International Federation. Elected three times by unanimous vote of the heads of the KIF International Branches (2014, 2018, and 2022).

2000 – 2nd Dan
2003 – 3rd Dan
2007 – 4th Dan
2013 – 5th Dan
2019 – 6th Dan

March 1, 2025 – At the request of KIF management, he left KIF and resigned from his position as KIF Director, stating: "...I. Samokhin's decision to leave Kudo International Federation (KIF) and resign as Director was agreed upon with KIF management. I. Samokhin's resignation was a necessary step necessitated by the current international situation and was not motivated by any unfriendly intentions toward KIF".

Considering I. Samokhin's contributions to the development of KUDO, the KIF leadership invited him to create a new organization that would continue the work begun by KUDO founder Azuma Takashi outside of the Kudo International Federation.

March 1, 2025 – Officially announced the creation of the International Association Bujin Shinkudoryu.
